Less focus on the 10% more focus on the extravance of love being showed...

So what might my act of love look like? What might it mean for me to love God lavishly, to centre my life and attention on God? The answer to that question will differ for each of us. We all have our own versions of spikenard.

Maybe now is the moment to release the fragrance of love for Christ by forgiving someone?
Maybe now is the moment to pour out the oil of love for Christ in the form of cash for someone in need?
Maybe now is the moment to seek confession, and love Christ with the truth?
Maybe now is the moment to love Christ by attending to Him in prayer.
Maybe now is the moment to love Christ by offering him a place at your table in the form of friend or stranger.
Maybe now is the moment to draw back the curtains and turn to the light and love of Christ.
I don’t know what the maybe is for you – but I do know that now is the moment to throw open the curtains and re-orientate ourselves around the light of Christ.
AmenHelen Elizabeth Symondsnoreply@blogger.com
